This is a very well made violin, in excellent condition for its age,with little or no work needed, apart from a setup, a set of pegs,bridge, strings etc
Violin represents great value and a chance to get an older violin, in very sound condition, at a fraction of what it would cost in a violin shop.
Top is from fine grain Spruce. Has arepaired saddle crack. Otherwise is in excellent condition
Purfling is inlaide and very finely done. Top is well graduated, with anice arch.
Varnish is original
The back, is 1 piece flamed maple,. No damages orrepairs, that I can see. Fine inlaide purfling.
The ribs appear to be in good condition needing no repairs.

The scroll is in original condition with original varnish. Nicelycarved, with good balance.
