The Ecstasy amplifier was bornin 1992 and decades later Bogner is still hand building each amp, oneat a time, right here in Los Angeles, California. The Ecstasy red pedalcaptures the mystical red channel tone of this legendary amplifier,famous for its incendiary higher gain crunch and lead tones. Usinginteractive controls to adjust gain and EQ settings, the red pedaldelivers a wide range of expressive tones from vintage overdrive toripping modern high gain. Ideal for aggressive playing styles, the redpedal boasts the outrageous heavy tones that get Bogner amps into thebacklines of rocks most notable players.
Reinhold designed the Ecstasyred pedal with five discrete Class A gain stages and with no op-amps ordiode clipping, mirroring the circuitry of the Ecstasy amplifiers redchannel. This revolutionary approach provides clarity, touchsensitivity and note separation never before achieved in overdrivepedals.
The Ecstasy red is powered by astandard 9V battery or 9VDC power supply. Reinholds advanced circuitryinternally elevates the voltage a substantially higher level. Thishigher voltage provides a greater dynamic range which closely resemblesthe feel of the Ecstasy amplifiers legendary tube design.
