The Seymour Duncal SSL-4 Quarter Pound Set is a hand-calibrated three pickup set for Strat that includes the neck, middle and bridge pickups. The middle pickup is Reverse-Wound, Reverse-Polarity (RWRP) for hum cancelling on the 2 and 4 positions of a five way switch.

The Seymour Duncan SSL-4 Quarter Pound is a high output true single-coil Stratocaster replacement pickup. Recommended for blues, classic rock, garage, heavy rock, classic metal and nu-metal. Works with any acoustically balanced Strat. Works especially well with rosewood fingerboards. This set uses the SSL-4 in both the neck and bridge position and the Seymour Duncan SSL-4 RWRP (Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity) in the middle position to reduce hum.

The Seymour Duncan SSL-4 has more than twice the power of a traditional single-coil. The result is a fat, punchy sound; similar to a P-90. It's clean at lower volumes and screamin' when cranked. The hand polished, quarter-inch diameter magnets are matched with a powerful coil winding to deliver great sustain, making this one of our most popular single-coil pickups. Does not use a cover.
