The Yorktown is a superbly crafted traditional hollow-body electric guitar that delivers a big, warm and full-bodied tone that its appearance implies. Featuring the old-world construction methods that contribute to its classic sound, the Yorktown features a spruce top, maple back and sides and a set-in Canadian hard maple neck. Other features include a floating bridge with fine-tuning capability, an elegant harp tailpiece, block inlays on the fretboard, vintage-style tuners, and a set of the versatile and sweet-sounding ClassicRocker-II humbuckers.

The Yorktown is equipped with our highly regarded and in-demand ClassicRocker-II pickups which use the sweet-sounding Alnico II magnets and a carefully calibrated winding pattern.

BIGSBY B60 VIBRATO

For those who want to add subtle and tasteful vibrato effects to a big full-bodied tone of the Yorktown, Cort now offers a version with the revered and much loved Bigsby B60 vibrato system.

VINTAGE TUNERS

Vintage-style tuners feature steel worm gears and small oval buttons for that classic vintage look while providing solid tuning functionality and stability.

SET-NECK CONSTRUCTION

The Yorktown is all about big and bold tone. To fully maximize the Spruce top, Maple back and sides and the hard rock Maple neck, Cort’s craftsmen have carefully set this neck into the body using a classic dovetail joint. This delivers enhanced sustain and tone.
