Featuring a period-correct all-analog signal path, the Behringer 1005 Modamp ring modulator and VCA module brings the clangorous sound of a classic ring mod circuit found on a legendary 1970s modular synth to the Eurorack format. This ultra-flexible module contains nine patch points for integrating into your modular rig. To generate the ring modulation, simply patch two VCO audio signals into the units IN A and IN B jacks and use the ratio and tune knobs to shape the behavior of the ring mod for fattening a signal or adding brash metallic overtones. Then output the module’s tune and ratio control voltages back to your VCOs and get ready for some modulated mayhem!  Whether you’re new to Eurorack or a seasoned modular wizard, the Behringer 2500 series, including the 1005 Modamp, presents an affordable way to conjure up classic synths sounds with the convenience and flexibility of Eurorack.
