Cort Yorktown Semi Acoustic Jazz Guitar – Tobacco Burst

The Yorktown is a superbly crafted traditional hollow-body electric guitar that delivers a big, warm and full-bodied tone that its appearance implies. Featuring the old-world construction methods that contribute to its classic sound, the Yorktown features a spruce top, maple back and sides and a set-in Canadian hard maple neck. Other features include a floating bridge with fine-tuning capability, an elegant harp tailpiece, block inlays on the fretboard, vintage-style tuners, and a set of the versatile and sweet-sounding ClassicRocker-II humbuckers.

SET-NECK CONSTRUCTION

The Yorktown is all about big and bold tone. To fully maximize the Spruce top, Maple back and sides and the hard rock Maple neck, Cort’s craftsmen have carefully set this neck into the body using a classic dovetail joint. This delivers enhanced sustain and tone.

T.O.M. BRIDGE AND HARP TAILPIECE

The Yorktown is equipped with a floating tune-o-matic bridge for fine-tuning and perfect intonation needed for playing complex chords all over the neck. The tailpiece is a classic harp-style which imparts class and elegance while providing tuning functionality and stability.

CLASSICROCKER-II PICKUPS

To maximize the big bold sound of the Yorktown, Cort equipped it with two ClassicRocker-II pickups. Each humbucker is overwound for a little hotter performance than a typical PAF pickup.
