• We were asked to give the traditional single coil P bass pickup a little boost, so we obliged. By increasing the coil wind on the Vintage, we came up with a more robust pickup that added output and low end while maintaining the clarity of the original single coil design; so if you like the feel of you Tele Bass, but wish it had a fuller, ballsier tone, this is the pickup for you. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for an American Standard Single Coil Precision Bass. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Hot for Single Coil P-Bass uses hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets, Forbon flatwork, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free performance.
