Easily switch between patches on your MIDI devices with the One Control Gecko MKIII. This compact MIDI switcher is tailor-made for modern MIDI-equipped guitar pedals, supplying fast access to up to 20 presets. Scrolling through presets during a live performance is a hassle; but thanks to the Gecko MKIII, preset diving will be a thing of the past. With this MIDI switcher, you can send Patch Change (PC) signals for 16 channels simultaneously, access patches using three modes, send tap tempo messages to multiple devices at once, and more. The Gecko MKIII boasts two MIDI output jacks, two DC output jacks, and quiet momentary footswitches.

Send Patch Change (PC) signals for 16 channels simultaneously

The Gecko MKIII provides access to 20 presets, and each preset can store one Patch Change (PC) message for each of 16 MIDI channels. Patch Change messages can be set between 0 and 199. You can also set any channel to Off to prevent MIDI signals from being sent to that channel.

Access patches using three modes

The Gecko MKIII features three modes. Select Preset mode sends MIDI signals only when the OK footswitch is engaged, the Instant Preset mode sends MIDI signals as soon as a preset number is changed, and Direct mode sends MIDI signals as soon as a patch (0–199) is changed.

The difference between One Control's Gecko MKIII and Basilisk

Several  customers have asked us to explain the difference between One Control's Gecko MKIII MIDI switcher and their Basilisk MIDI controller. Quite simply, the Gecko MKII sends Patch Change (PC) numbers, while the Basilisk sends both Patch Change (PC) and Control Change (CC) numbers.
