When you pick up a Schecter V-1 Apocalypse guitar, you'll be amazed by all the details and finishing touches that make up this exceptional instrument. The Thin "C" neck profile feels comfortable and fast, with just the right amount of wood between your hands and the strings. And the roman numeral inlays on its ebony fretboard add a special touch of aggression — the countdown has begun! What's more, its Ultra-access neck carve allows easier access to those higher, hard-to-reach frets.

Aggressive, detailed tone

You'll find nothing but sonic intensity from the Apocalypse VI humbuckers onboard the V-1 Apocalypse. Alnico magnets deliver a fast, aggressive sound with plenty of richness. The Alnicos are flanked by ceramic magnets for top-end presence and articulation. You'll have an explosive tone with plenty of harmonic content, giving you lots of sound-shaping potential when you tweak the tone knobs on your amplifier and pedals. It includes plenty of tonal control, by way of two volume knobs, a master tone, and a 3-way pickup selector. You also get a push-pull pot for coil-split single-coil tones.

The Apocalypse Series — extreme metal performance

Schecter's Apocalypse Series boasts extreme metal performance with an aesthetic to match. Face-melting Apocalypse humbuckers deliver the output and articulation you demand. The fast-playing ebony fingerboards on these axes include compound radii and stainless-steel frets. You also get lightweight yet potently resonant swamp ash bodies and eye-popping finishes that are tailor-made for abusive stage antics. TonePros string-through-body or Floyd Rose 1500 bridges and Schecter locking tuners supply rock-solid tuning. Complete with attractive satin black appointments, these guitars are top-drawer all the way.

Please Note last image in photos above. When setting this guitar up, we noticed a small dent in the headstock. This has been made like this, as the varnish is not damaged. It has been varnished with the dent in place. Purely cosmetic and does not affect the guitar in any way. Has been discounted with this slight flaw in mind.
