DW Design Acrylics 22/10/12/16 4pc Drum Shell Pack – Clear

The first acrylic offering from DW, the Design Series Acrylics kit features 5mm thick extruded, seamless acrylic shells with STM (Suspension Tom Mounts), True-Pitch Tuning, and F.A.S.T. (Fundamentally Accurate-Sized Toms), Chrome Standard Triple Flange Hoops, with the Design Series floor tom including chrome-plated resonant floor tom legs.Rounded out with REMO heads, the toms utilize clear single-ply top and bottom heads, and the kick drum employ resonant bass drum logo heads with the DW Drums "thinline" logo, with all heads of the kit constructed with crimped aluminum flesh hoops for greater durability and resonance.

With the True-Pitch Tuning Rod system, drummers get even finer control over their sound - DW's patented tuning rods employ 5mm threads instead of the traditional 12/24 found on most other drums. True-Pitch rods feature about 20% more thread, with 1 thread every 0.8mm, compared to 1 thread every 1.05mm on most other drums, resulting in a more precise tuning process.
