The DW Drop Lock Hi-Hat Clutch can keep the cymbals closed even when your foot is off the hi-hat pedal, letting you play the double bass with that crispy, closed bass drum sound.

When you hit the large rubber arm with your stick, the clutch will let go of the top cymbal. To make it grab the cymbal again to act just like a regular clutch, simply press down the pedal with your foot.
