The EMG JMaster™ Pickup is inspired by the look, feel, and sound of classic, time-tested pickup designs.

As part of the Retro Active Line Up, the pickups feature Alnico 5 rods and wide stacked coils for a rich and balanced single coil tone. And like all EMG Active Pickups, the JMaster’s are free of hum and incredibly easy to install

The pickguard system features a powerful set of master EQ controls on the upper horn of the instrument

The beloved SPC Control packs a punch with its mighty mid-boost at the turn of a dial. Or flip the switch to turn it into a clean boost across the full frequency spectrum- giving you up to 12dB on tap

The EXG Control simultaneously boosts the low and high frequencies giving your instrument a liquid tone with full bottom end and enhanced highs

Before Purchasing your JMaster™ Pickguard System, please checking the routing on your instrument to see if it can accommodate the Pickguard without modification to the Pickguard or Upper Horn Controls.
