Granadillo (Platymiscium yucatanum)Also known as Macacauba or Hormigo, Granadillo is a hardwood that grows in South and Central America. It's very dense with interlocking grain making it an excellent instrument wood. Color goes from orange-brown to reddish-brown with some darker streaks.
