The TP7-N is functionally identical to the TP7-B — the only difference is finish. Nickel is the correct choice for instruments with nickel hardware throughout. The critical purchasing decision on any TP7 variant is thread compatibility: the TP7 uses 8mm x 1.25 metric threads, fitting most imported 7-string guitars from Ibanez, Schecter, ESP/LTD and Jackson. US-made instruments typically use imperial threads and are not compatible.
