Legere – Bassoon Reed – Signature – Medium Hard

Reed Cannot be returned once opened, for hygene reasons.

The Légère Bassoon Signature delivers the rich, focused tone bassoonists expect — and the dependability cane can't promise. Built on a refined blade profile and an expanded throat geometry developed over a decade of player feedback, the Signature responds cleanly across the full range, accepts the air professionals demand, and holds its pitch in any climate. No soaking, no break-in, no surprises. Open the case knowing the reed inside is the reed you played last time, and the time before that. Available in Medium-Soft, Medium, and Medium-Hard, including Légère's first Medium-Soft bassoon reed.

RICH FOCUSED BASSOON TONE

Talking Points from the Audience:

“Cane reeds are unpredictable. The Bassoon Signature isn't. It plays the same in every venue, every climate, performance after performance — confirmed by professionals who've used it through full performance runs. For the touring date, the demanding program, or the moment cane isn't ready, it's the reed you can count on.”

“Bassoon students struggle with reed problems more than any other obstacle to progress. The Bassoon Signature in Medium-Soft — Légère's first Medium-Soft bassoon reed — lowers the resistance barrier that frustrates beginners and plays the same way at every lesson and every practice session. Students build embouchure and tone on a reed that plays, instead of fighting one that doesn't.”
