Aquila Red Series Description
Aquila has developed the Red Series of single strings in order to give the player the option of having a "Low Tuned" string without it being a wound string. These nylgut "Low Tuned" strings last longer than wound strings, don't hold out excessive sustain over other nylgut strings, and minimize noise caused by the fretting hand.

IMPORTANT:
To avoid potential problems, please make sure the string slot in thenut is wide enough. This is easily determined by putting the string inthe slot and visually checking the fitment before installing thestring. A radiused lower edge at the fingerboard side is also veryimportant. Some ukes have a sharp lower edge. These strings are veryreliable under correct conditions.
Aquila Red Series strings are not covered by any replacement warrantyper Aquila Strings. These are delicate strings and require properreplacement technique and stretching.
