The EMG 57TW/66TW Set takes their popular 57/66 Set and enhances it with selectable single- and dual-coil voices using EMG’s proprietary 3-coil design. The 57TW bridge pickup combines alnico and steel magnets, and it really cooks, delivering a muscular rock tone with unequivocal clarity. The 66TW neck pickup employs both ceramic and alnico magnets, yielding a smooth, fluid sound that somehow makes everything you play sound better. And this active humbucker set’s dual-mode design gives you a myriad of sonic textures to play with. And guitarists here appreciate EMG’s solderless installation, which makes swapping your guitar pickups a breeze. The 57TW/66TW Set includes the solderless wiring harness, a push-pull potentiometer for each pickup, and two standard tone controls.
