To prevent slow voltage drain when your instrument is resting on a stage stand or inside its hardshell case, always remember to pull your 1/4" guitar cable out of the output jack to disconnect the active battery circuit loop.

Does this kit replace my existing passive tone knobs with something different?
Yes. Traditional Stratocasters use a standard master volume and two independent passive tone controls.
