The Evans Onyx drumhead were created with theintent of developing a black alternative to the standard G2 Clear andCoated drumheads. The series prompted the Evans team to experiment witha variety of black films and coatings before settling on a combinationthat not only results in a new aesthetic but also an appealing soundfor the Evans drumhead line.

Included in this Evans drumhead pack are two plies replacement heads of7.5mm film that will deliver enhanced durability while making the drumscut live. A micro-clear coating gives the Evans Onyx drumheads a matteblack appearance, produces more low end, and a punchier attack.
