Fine Antique German Violin made after Guarneri Circa 1940

• Made on the Guarneri Pattern, circa 1940.
• Top is made of two pieces of Spruce, and shows regular grain lines.
• Back is made of two piece highly flamed maple, A fine choice of wood.
• Ribs, neck and scroll are from the same wood, and original to the instrument.
• Varnish is of an orange-brown colour on a golden ground.
• F holes are beautifully carved in the style of Guarneri.
• Back of the peg box, is fire branded the mention, "Grand Solo Violin Guarneri".
• On the inside back can also be found a handwritten inscription “Guarneri 1724".
• Suits advanced player needing a quality older instrument with good response and clarity.
• New Violin case included for security in transit.

• The instrument has been newly setup, including a new Despiau bridge, Thomastik Dominant strings, and a new set of pegs, tailpiece and chinrest.
