On the neck can be found a stamp in the form of a star. We do not know who used this stamp. Under the button, a pevious owner engraved his family name, ( Baumgartner ) Violin has just been fully setup and checked. New Aubert deluxe Bridge and sound post
A superb violin
Body Length : 360mm
Upper Bouts : 167mm
Middle bouts : 110mm
Lower bouts : 204mm
The violin has a pleasant mature sound, with some Baroque accents. Not a powerhouse but has a dry sweet sound, responsive and warm. Would suit an advancing student wanting a mature older violin.
