The Flight DUS450 is constructed by mesmerizing laminate mango.  How would you like a ukulele that looks stunning, sounds great and is eco-friendly at the same time? Each of our mango ukuleles has its own identity, thanks to the unique and beautiful patterns that are found on each one. You never know what flavor is waiting for you inside the box! The ukulele bathes in swirling patterns and colors, ranging from shades of green to red or grey. No two ukuleles are ever the same which makes your ukulele one of a kind!

Mango Wood

The Flight DUS450 is made from stunning laminate mango.  While known more widely for its fruit, Mango trees also yield beautiful and valuable lumber. The wood is considered very eco-friendly, as some Mango plantations harvest the trees for lumber after they have completed their useful fruit-bearing lifespan. Mango shares the same density as mahogany, and if used correctly,  can sound even sweeter than koa.

Okoume Neck & Walnut Fingerboard

The neck and fingerboard of the DUS450 are made from African okoume and Walnut. It’s a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard, is gentle to your hands, and looks great as well.

Bone Nut & Walnut Bridge

The nut may seem to be a small component, but it plays a critical role in the quality of the sound of an instrument.  The nut and saddle of the DUS450 are made from bone (not from plastic). This is just one of the details that makes this ukulele truly special.
