Juliana was the second ukulele introduced as part of the Flight Princess Series.  The solid acacia top and the laminate acacia sides and back gives this ukulele a full, rich tone which reflects the dark, stunning color of the wood. With premium features such as the ebony fretboard, Japanese fluorocarbon strings, and African mahogany neck, this ukulele is a stunning addition to any ukulele collection.

Solid Acacia Wood

Flight’s Juliana is a concert ukulele made with a solid acacia top and laminate acacia back and sides. Acacia is in the same family as Hawaiian Koa, and is a popular tone wood for ukuleles.  If you’re looking for the real ‘island sound’, and at an affordable price, this is the uke for you! We chose the finest solid acacia for the top, with amazing grain and sound.

African Mahogany Neck & Ebony Fingerboard

African Mahogany neck provides stability, warm tone and a smooth feeling while playing. Fingerboard is made out of ebony. Ebony is a dark and dense hardwood, sometimes considered the most valuable wood in the world, which is why it is associated with high-class, premium instruments.

Bone Nut & Ebony Bridge

The Flight Juliana features a real bone nut and a compensated bone saddle. Compensated saddles not only look cool, they also improve the playability by correctly setting intonation of each string to help produce the best tone and performance possible. The bridge is made of ebony.
