The Kala KA-8E Electro-Acoustic Ukulele features eight strings with masses of tonal variety and a rich sound. This tenor sized ukulele features a stunning Mahogany body with a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge for classic warmth. The tenor size is ideal for players who like the warmth of the ukulele, but require slightly more bass response and low end punch. The on board Shadow EQ JW1 active pickup system produces a balanced sound transfer to an amplifier. The harmonic strings add for a more tonally complex sound, making the KA-8E an ideal choice for the developed ukulele musician.
