  Deliciously clear sound

  Showcased in all its glory is a solid North American cedar top. This tonewood gives the RCE159-8 its dark and warm sonic qualities. Awash with overtone content, cedar lends itself to brilliant textures that encompass a smooth richness and plenty of character. It begs your skilful fingerpicking techniques; shimmering clarity will bring every note to life.

   

  The back and sides have been exquisitely crafted from walnut. With a woody midrange and a tone that gets more beautiful with age, walnut is the perfect tonewood for classical players. The more you play, the warmer and softer your sound will become, allowing for endless tonal possibilities.
