With their molded, seamless construction, the shells are incredibly strong and also produce powerful, cutting sounds, not to mention being awesome to look at. Crystal Beat snare drums are also housed in Pearl's Free Floating chassis; enhancing tone and resonance by minimizing hardware contact with the shell. Drilling holes for brackets is no longer necessary; keeping the shell totally intact.
