One of our best-selling rosins, great for beginner violinists and violists. An attractively priced, simple and good rosin for beginners. Comes in a durable square plastic box and is attached to a fabric cover to protect the fingers.

Hard consistency. Pirastro develop their own specific rosin and design it according to the technical requirements of Pirastro's different string lines. The rosin name corresponds with the brand name of the violin, viola and cello string names.

Rosin is made from tree sap and creates friction between the strings and the bow. Rosin causes the bow hair to stick to the string and pull it, which in turn creates the sound. It’s a good idea to keep a spare rosin stashed away in case it is misplaced or dropped.
