Designed as a replacement for vintage 14" Pearl Free-Floating snare drums, the Pearl Free-Floating snare wire has 16 individual strands of premium-grade steel wire. The snares have an overall length of 15 3/4", and a strand length of 14 7/8" (from solder point to solder point). Both end plates have modern configurations for attachment to the strainer and butt-plate via string or strap.
