Rare Old cello

Is this cello an Original Kennedy, probably not in our Opinion. However, it is a Master made instrument, certainly not a trade instrument. 

looks to be made in the mid to late 1800's quite possibly English

Cello was purchased from London several years ago, in a very poor state.

It has been restored now and is ready to be played.

Top has suffered from wood worm over the years, and has had several coats of varnish applied to it, which we have cleaned up. It has had a neck Graft, and several repairs to the ribs.

The scroll and the back are original, with original varnish. A beuatiful piece of wood.
