Rico Reserve Classic Bass Clarinet reeds in strength 4 are designedwith a medium blank taper for greater flexibility and are made fromlower internode cane, the most dense part of the cane pole. There are 5highly consistent reeds in each box.

Rico Reserve Classic Bass clarinet reeds have been designed for bassclarinetists by bass clarinetists in collaboration with J. LawrieBloom, Bass Clarinetist with the Chicago Symphony, and offer theperfect combination of flexibility and projection. Like all Reservereeds, only the lower sections of each cane pole are selected - atechnique Rico has pioneered that yields the highest-density caneavailable, resulting in a greater consistency from reed to reed.
