Schecter is a well known metal guitar brand but every now and then they throw you a curve-ball that makes you totally re-consider your entire collection. This Ultra III model is like a Swiss army knife of tone, built to re-create the tones of yester-year. It will handle rock, blues, country and basically anything else. The Diamond Alnico F-tron style pickups (yes the mini toasters under your strings) have plenty of high end sparkle and snap and the switching system includes the ability for coil splitting and for all three pickups to operate at once.

The pickups each have an on / off switch allowing for total control over the three humbuckers output as well as including coil split slider switches. You then also have a 5 way rotary style pickup switch meaning you can blend 5 styles of tone with 3 different pickup combos. You probably won't find a more versatile guitar than this one.
