Allof the silk is hand loomed and sewn by women in Cambodia.
TheSilk is hand-processed and spun, not synthetic and not made in afactory. It is woven on traditional wooden looms, and is sewn onold-fashioned treadle machines, as many of the women dont haveelectricity. Each purse is a handmade piece of artwork.
Subtleinconsistencies in fabric color or texture add to the handmade appealof each piece.
Manyof the women making these purses, survive only on the small amount theyreceive from the sale of this purse.
