The Vandoren V16 series tenor saxophone mouthpieces are known to be the "vintage" jazz players mouthpiece. Inspired by the sound the greatest jazzmen from the fifties to present day, these mouthpieces speak, and have a fat sound. The tenor saxophone mouthpieces are available in 6 openings: T6 through T11. This model is the SM822E, and is the T6 opening. It is the smallest facing available for this model, with a 2.50mm Tip Opening.
