Screw-Mounted Design — Maximum Sound Transmission

The Pure Resonator BB uses a screw-mounted pickup design — the pickup element is secured directly to the biscuit saddle with a small screw, creating a direct mechanical connection between the pickup and the vibrating saddle. This direct coupling is the key to the Pure Resonator BB's natural, acoustic sound quality.

Many resonator pickup designs use adhesive or pressure contact with the cone or body — less invasive but also less acoustically coupled. The screw-mounted approach of the Pure Resonator BB captures the vibration of the saddle directly, reproducing the characteristic resonator tone — the metallic shimmer, the cone sustain and the complex harmonic content — more accurately than contact-mounted alternatives.

The screw mounting also contributes to the Pure Resonator BB's excellent feedback resistance — because the pickup is capturing saddle vibration rather than body vibration, it is significantly less prone to the feedback that plagues many resonator amplification solutions at stage volume.

Pre-Wired for External Jack — Dual-Lock Fastening System

The Pure Resonator BB arrives pre-wired and ready to install. The output jack is configured for external mounting using the 3M Dual-Lock fastening system — an industrial-strength hook-and-loop fastener that secures the jack to the outside of the guitar body without drilling or permanent modification. The Dual-Lock system is strong enough for stage use and removes cleanly without damaging the guitar's finish.

For players who prefer an internally mounted jack — a cleaner, more permanent installation — the Dual-Lock system can be removed and the jack installed inside the endpin or side of the guitar. Passive — No Battery Required

The Pure Resonator BB is a passive pickup — it requires no battery and contains no onboard preamp. The passive design produces a natural, uncoloured signal that accurately reflects the acoustic character of the instrument without the compression, EQ colouring or tonal alteration that active onboard systems can introduce.

The passive output of the Pure Resonator BB is optimised for connection to:

• An acoustic amplifier with a high-impedance instrument input
• A DI box (passive or active) for connecting to a PA system or mixing desk
